sometimes i stream improv ambient music on twitch with a Yamaha CS Reface synth and a Boss RC-505 looping station. it sounds very different than the material i record for albums like (Un)valiant, but i try to achieve a similar atmosphere nonetheless. i recorded this hour-long piece to give a better sense of what these streams are like compared to my "studio" work. it features several digital artifacts and blemishes that come from a live recording, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. it feels inspired by works such as Brian Eno's "Reflection", or Pendant's "Make Me Know You Sweet". try listening as you go to sleep or if you need a moment of calm during the day. and thank you in advance for listening
